AKAM COINS

 

Government of India launched a special series of special coins to mark the country’s 75 years of independence

The coins of Re 1, Rs 2, 5, 10 and 20 denominations have the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav (AKAM) design. These are not only commemorative coins but also will be part of circulation.AKAM is an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of independence.
